Is my book anything like TD?
Soo... I've been writing this book over the past year. It is a high school romance and of course it is desi. And I know my book having such characteristics doesn't automatically make it like TD. The thing is, I've been having this constant paranoia about whether my book is overwritten like theirs with over the top drama. This is not my first time writing a story (although my first time trying to finish writing a book.) but this story is the very first time I ever started writing in third person and I feel like there's a huge chance of overwriting and over explaining in third person unknowingly. Sometimes when I think about the early chapters of my book all I can think about is how overwritten I remember it being because of all the big paragraphs.
When I first read TD, I could barely put up with the first 32 chapters before dropping it. But there remained this idea at the back of my brain about how desi Wattpad must like their books to be, (because of all the attention it got.) Now, when I'm writing in third person there's this constant image in my mind comparing my work to theirs even though I personally found it very dragging.
So, can anyone please give an opinion on whether my book is anything like TD or any of deewanixwriters' other works? The link to my story is down below.
