For those who watched S3 of Scream. What did you guys think of Jay / Jamal revealing himself as a killer when he was dying? I thought it was a fun twist compared to the usual formula.

Normally in TV shows, the killer gets revealed, then they do a whole monologue while holding the characters at gunpoint, and then a final fight ensues. I thought it was cool that they changed this formula for once and went with a reveal where one of the killers is already down. Definitely caught me off guard.

I just wish they hadn't spent most of the 5th episode focusing on him being the killer. I think the twist would've landed more if he hadn't been a suspect up to that point.
