Genuine question regarding OpenClaw ?
The first time I used OC, I had a “wow” effect similar to the first time I used ChatGPT. It was mind-blowing.
I co-created a small business to set up OC for individuals and companies, and we got a few clients.
We then moved toward a managed service model. I used ads for acquisition, but quickly realized it probably wouldn’t become a very lucrative market.
My intuition was that the value would come not only from hosting, but also from monitoring and providing useful integrations/connections.
But I have an existential question:
Personally, I’m not using OC regularly anymore, as I now use Claude CLI, Claude, Claude Cowork, etc. I mainly use OC for tasks requiring custom integrations.
The gap between OC and Anthropic, Google, etc. is narrowing.
So my question is: do you believe there is still a market for managed OC?
