Tribute to Miss Luna

My Dearest Miss Luna,

I don't know if cats know how deeply they change us, but I hope somehow you knew.

You arrived with quiet grace. You never demanded attention, never caused trouble, never tried to be the center of the room. You simply existed with a gentleness that made the whole house feel softer.

You were polite.

That is still the word that comes to me before any other.

When I spoke to you, my voice changed without me realizing it. It became calmer, quieter, kinder. "Hello, Miss Luna," I'd say, and somehow the world slowed down for a moment.

You taught me that love doesn't always arrive loudly. Sometimes it arrives on silent paws, sits beside you, and asks for nothing except to be near.

The house feels different now. There is a space only you could fill, and it remains yours.

The others still run through the halls. The food bowls still need filling. Life continues, just as it always does.

But every now and then I still look toward one of your favorite places before remembering.

Thank you for every quiet morning, every peaceful afternoon, and every gentle reminder that kindness can exist without making a sound.

You will always be part of Mara Manor.

You will always be my Miss Luna.
