Has anyone dealt with sudden gum recession since being on accutane? I’ve been on 40mg for almost a year now. I’ve always had good dental hygiene but around August 2025 I started feeling some sensitivity on one of my lower teeth and by December 2025 the gums had almost fully receded on that tooth. I have to get a gum graft. But the periodontist cannot figure out what is causing it because it’s not affecting any of my other teeth and it was very sudden. My only thought could be accutane since it dries out your mouth. Just wanted to see if anyone else has experienced this.
