Is there any A’s coverage that is not Locked on A’s or A’s cast? Both are terrible. I’ve been on the fence with A’s cast all year but defending Kotsay on yesterday’s episode did it for me. They didn’t even discuss Kotsay leaving Lopez in when everyone knew the wheels were falling off. They just briefly touched on possibility of Kotsay benching LB for getting picked off.
This is a talented young team, but they are incredibly sloppy now. Thats on Kotsay. Decisions of when to pull pitchers also fall on Kotsay and he’s been mediocre at best. Yesterday decision to leave Lopez in to get pounded was baffling.
They said Vogt inherited a more talented Cleveland team than what Kotsay inherited. That may be true, but as of right now, the A’s are flush with young bats and Cleveland’s lineup is pretty bad outside of DeLauter. Yet they are putting belt to ass.
