I don’t know anything about fishing but my son (and his friends) love it. They fish 2-3x per week for couple years now. Neighbor just gave them a kayak. It’s catch & release, mostly pond but sometimes lake, bass (?), Dallas Texas. He asked for “fishing stuff” for his birthday. He’s got a cheap pole and couple of lures (sp?). What can I get? I want to support this hobby - $300’ish budget
