Hi guys. I’ve been bouncing around different apps trying to manage my PT clients without paying stupid monthly fees, and I recently came across a web app called Carbyne Lab.
It has a free tier right now with a bunch of stuff that usually sits behind a paywall on other platforms. It may eventually become chargeable but the max tier is only $10/month.
You can register yourself and add your trainees, it automatically generates programs and macro estimates, and has a few really good calculators. But the main reason I actually decided to try it is because they let you export all your data whenever you want. Basically, no ' ecosystem lock'. If they eventually change their pricing, your client data can be easily exported.
The UI is genuinely one of the cleanest I’ve used too. It’s a web app, so you just go to app.carbynelab.com and add it to your home screen.
Anyway, just passing it along for any other coaches trying to keep their overhead low. Anyone else happen to use this?
