Subnautica 2 DirectX 12 not supported problem

I downloaded Subnautica 2 from steamrip but when I try to launch game it says DirectX 12 is not supported on your system but my system does support DirectX 12 and I have it already installed

Edit: Also tried following instructions from subnautica support site but still having same issue
