For the longest time I used the same email and phone number for basically every account I made online. Didn't really think much of it because that's just what everyone did. Now that I've started using aliases giving some random website my actual email feels weird. If it's a site I'm only going to use once or I'm not sure I trust yet why should they get something I've been using for years? The annoying part is realizing I can't undo all the years before this. My main email has already made its way onto spam lists and my number gets calls from people who definitely shouldn't have it. I'm curious if others eventually moved most of your old accounts over to aliases too, or just started using them for anything new.
