At this point they’re gonna claim Alexander crossed the Indus just to get a visa stamp for Pakistan.
The Battle of the Hydaspes happened near the Jhelum River against King Porus, an Indian king ruling in the Punjab region of the Indian subcontinent. Even Greek historians described it as Alexander entering India.
