Hey guys! I am a 24 year old female who has a rectal prolapse I have been dealing with for about 2 years now. I met with a great surgeon with good reviews and he says there is no other alternative but surgery to fix this. He wants to do the posterior suture Rectopexy with no mesh on me. I am VERY concerned about the scars that it will leave on my stomach. I am also very scared in general to do this. Can anyone get on here and give me GOOD experiences and advice! I want to know what the scars look like after the fact. I’m so scared.
