is this a normal part of the healing process? i mean the pain isn’t horrible only stinging when i walk (clearly gotta be from the inflammation.) but im just anxious that this will never go away. its day 5, when i was in the waiting room to get it lanced and drained, it popped on its own. i was so relieved and the doctor pushed on it a little bit and told me i was good to go. i’m on antibiotics now, but it still looks gnarly. i’m just scared.

everyone online keeps saying it’s a cyst, i’ve never had a cyst but it doesn’t really look like one if i had to pinpoint one out. i’m extremely embarrassed about this (for no reason, i guess the location), and im horrified to go to the doctors. could someone help pinpoint what this could be? (it’s been ongoing for around 5 days id say. feels better with ibuprofen and hot baths but still hurts regardless.)
