I bought 120$ worth of 600 film and when it arrived every pack was soggy, disintegrated and soaking wet. The box, however, was completely dry with no damage at all. So did they box up completely fucked wet film before sending it to me? How could this happen?

I tried contacting Polaroid but haven’t heard back. I am pretty bummed since buying film feels like a luxury in this economy. Wondering if anyone has any idea how this happens and if my anger at Polaroid as a company is misplaced or not.
