Nocturnist Role
Thought i would share my info with everyone like many other posts. For reference, I've worked in this role previously but with a much different comp structure. Here are the highlights:
Northern Georgia about 45 minutes from Atlanta
Family friendly area, highly rated school systems
7 on/7 off, 9p-7a
2 nocturnists, 3 APPs who manage all cross coverage
Supervise IM Residents
Average 8-10 admits
Base 390k but no rvu, previously 310k w/ rvu's averaging around 50k yearly
40k yearly quality bonus, essentially 80% guaranteed due to easy nocturnist metrics with remaining 20% group metrics (would commonly hit 90%+ in the past)
401k w/ 6% matching, 457b no match
5 days CME to use like vacation if desired
40k sign on/relocation
Epic EMR
Thoughts?
