EXAMINATION: TRANSVAGINAL PELVIC ULTRASOUND.
COMPARISON: None available.
FINDINGS:
The uterus measures 7.7 x 3.4 x 4.2 cm. It demonstrates anterior fibroid measuring 2.9 x 3 x 1.5 cm with vascularity seen. An echogenic structure is seen in the lower uterine segment measuring 0.2 cm.
C-section scar is seen measuring 0.2 cm.
Small amount of cervical fluid is noted.
The right ovary measures 3.1 x 2.3 x 1.9 cm. It appears to be within normal limits. The left ovary measures 2.9 x 1.7 x 2 cm. It demonstrates a dominant follicle measuring 1.4 x 1.5 x 1.5 cm.
Small amount of free fluid is seen in the cul-de-sac.
IMPRESSION:
- Uterine fibroid.
- Small lower uterine segment calcification.
- Small amount of cervical fluid is noted.
- Left ovarian dominant follicle.
- Small amount of free fluid is seen in the cul-de-sac.
