Soooooo I’ve been on the lovely Queen Prozac since February. I have been having the dosage increased until we got to 80 mg. I felt great. Life was manageable. I still felt normal emotions but they didn’t feel life threatening. Well this months I’ve been feeling like my vision was a bit dimmed. I was watching tv with the lights on. My phone was never bright enough. Every room needs to have a light on. I honestly have poor vision to begin with so I thought it was a separate issue not associated with the medication. Therefore my first stop was an ophthalmologist. I should mention that I also take Adderall. Apparently both can cause vision blurring and cloudiness. But given that the symptoms got more prevalent during April when my Prozac dosage was doubled, my psychiatrist opted to remove Prozac first. Soooo I’m about to have to rawdog withdrawal and emotions for the next three weeks. I also found out I may have glaucoma as well. That test in is two weeks. Wish me luck. Prozac will be missed heavily 😩
