is this a pimple on my 5 yr old male yorkie?

hes had it for about a month or month and a half in the back of his neck, dont think it hurts him cause im able to examine it, but its grown kinda tubular? also picture is post shower not really sure if its a pimple or wart or growth what can i do to fix this? i will be taking him to the vet regardless but i want to have an idea of what i can be dealing with.
