Hi, I'm 16 and I'll be graduating high school next year. I don't know what program I should take and what college should I even apply. I haven't studied at all in this whole months of vacation. But I've been conscious about it, I can't help thinking about it.

I said I wanted to pursue medicine, I want to work in medical fields, but I don't exactly know what type of work is what I want. My family says that I should pursue accountancy or IT because it's more practical in jobs and earning a decent amount of money to live. I'm a STEM student and doesn't have any basic background knowledge about those programs, but I'm willing to study it if that's what I'll have to go in college.

But deep down I know don't want to do it, I can't really imagine myself enjoying life if I take either of those program. I'm a person who tends to interact more with people, especially with adults or perhaps children. I am also a person who wants to do something in the future that involves being around people that I know I can treat well, that's why I think being in medical fields suits me more. And I feel like my whole potential, my whole self is being limited if I take those programs.

Please give some advice about how do I choose a program for college 😓. Or am I just confused because I don't have a clear path to begin with?
