Six months ago with the encouragement of this community I split my inherited aloe plant which has grown so big the pot was toppling over. Current state - one half of the split (white pot) seems to be doing well. It's hearty and strong. The other half (blue pot) seems flimsy, floppy, and weak. It also looks so different, with many skinny stalks vs the more prototypical fewer thicker stalks. What do you think is going on? Is it OK? They are in the same location, same water (little), same sunlight (lots).
