I just received my order of prescription glasses and everything is noticeably zoomed in on one eye compared to the other, it looks odd and feels like my eyes are not adjusting after a whole day of wearing them. Very nauseating and it's giving me an instant headache - reminds me of the feeling you get from crossing your eyes.

I've read online that it's normal to feel strange at first... headaches, etc, while the eyes and brain adjust for up to a couple of weeks, but honestly, I can't see myself getting through another couple of days feeling like this. I feel sick.

I'm quite confused and disappointed as I felt that the eye test at the hospital went REALLY well and I felt certain in every answer I gave during the test. At the end of the test, wearing the trial frames/lens set-up, I did not feel this way, or notice such a difference between eyes, or the discomfort and disorientation.

It's worth noting that I ordered my glasses online due to financial constraints, but I spent days researching the online providers and reading reviews. I also visited several high street opticians to try on frames to see what fits and the few pairs of glasses I ordered online do seem to fit really well (I ordered a few pairs as the prices were so low and I wanted to ensure the fit).

In disbelief, I've checked and rechecked the prescription details of my order several times, re-measured my pupillary distance and so on, confirming no mistakes were made.

It's also worth noting that when I close one eye and compare vision with and without the corresponding lens, it does improve with the lens... and this is the case for each eye.

I wish I'd just purchased from a high street retailer, as I'd at least be able to seek advice from them in person. I feel stupid for trying so hard to save a buck and end up in this situation.

My prescription is as follows:

Right: +2.75 sph / -1.75 cyl / 110 axis

Left: +1.00 sph / -2.75 cyl / 82 axis

Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks you 😓
