Hey everyone. I’m a Compositor at a 3DOOH studio.
Currently, we’re integrating AI as a support tool for comps , generating simple simulations, background props, and some standalone AI animations.
Now, we are formalizing this into a dedicated pipeline for screen adaptations and fully AI driven DOOH videos. We want to stop relying on heavy 3D re-renders just to migrate a campaign to a new anamorphic screen ratio or curve.
Our Setup:
- 3D: Blender
- Compositing: Nuke / After Effects / Fusion
- Local AI: ComfyUI (Running locally on RTX 5070s and Can build a whole new system If it goes well
The Goal: I'm looking to leverage 3D proxy passes (Z-Depth/OpenPose) from Blender to drive AI video generation for new adaptation angles, completely bypassing traditional 3D lighting and rendering.
For those already executing AI-assisted 3DOOH adaptations in production:
- Architecture: How are you structuring this dedicated workflow between your 3D package and ComfyUI?
- The Stack: What specific custom nodes, Checkpoints, or ControlNet models are giving you the most temporal stability?
- CUDA Optimization: How are you maximizing VRAM and utilizing TensorRT or xformers for heavy video batching and temporal consistency?
Looking forward to hearing about your workflows.
