Once upon a time...

TPTB were chem-testing Alan and Amy. He was hospitalized (I think injured after the one of his attempts to kill Monica and Rick) and she was his nurse at GH. Amy was definitely flirting with him and Alan was always a dog when it came to pretty young nurses. However, Amy (being relatively new to the show) was then being written as a conniving gold-digger trying to worm her way into the Quartermaine fortune. It didn't last long, and she was redirected into becoming the gossipy ditz on staff we all came to love.

Shared lovers is a staple of soaps, but it is funny to think of the many crossovers especially among sworn enemies...

• Carly and Nina have (so far) shared three men: Drew, Sonny, and Valentin
• Half-brothers Sonny and Ric have shared Alexis, Ava, and Nina
• Half-brothers Jason and A.J. have shared Courtney, Carly, and Elizabeth

Looks like three is indeed the magic number.

But possibly the most shared were by enemies Sonny and Jax coming in at five with Brenda, Sam, Carly, Nina, and Connie (add "Kate" for 6) 😄

Least Favorite - Sonny & Justine

Fans have been ragging on the too-close-for-comfort potential romances between Danny and Charlotte, and between Rocco and Scout. But on soaps, where family trees more resemble a briar patch, you have to wonder how confused any kid in Port Charles is going to be at a family get-together. My favorite current ones are:

Kevin is a step-grandfather and grand-uncle to Ace.

Willow is a step-mother and aunt to Wiley.

Just like with Kristina and Molly, Wiley and Amelia are both blood siblings and first cousins.

Leo is an an uncle to BOTH of Gio's parents.

Lucas is a step-uncle and first cousin to Avery

These people need a blood test just to go on a date.

All this talk about Jax makes me wonder if a brother or sister is going to show up anytime soon. The new Aussie doc at GH? The guy who was pushing for Joss to take over daddy's company? Jacinda? It would be very soapy if Jacinda turned out to be his half-sister's half-sister, and now wants to reclaim her birthright. Too bad Jacinda seems on the way out.

Didn't Lucy have a second daughter (hers from inception) well after Serena? I could swear I recall her running around with a pint-size towards the end of the spin-off "Port Charles". I don't however remember who the baby daddy was -- Scott? Kevin?

If Cassius is dead, wouldn't Liesl and Britt want to see the body? Have a funeral? Would they recycle Nathan's now empty grave or use it for winter storage?

Does no one care that Dalton was murdered? Are Sonny, Jason and Laura going to be charged with evidence tampering and unlawful disposal of a corpse?

So Brennan's black box was "hidden" by the front door and only Valentin could see it?

What are your current unanswered questions about the show?

Am I missing something? I know IRL they needed to write the actress off for awhile, but none of it really makes sense. Why would the baddies have bothered with taking out the police commissioner? She was as bamboozled as every one else was about Cassius.

And would Anna really be reassigned as the police commissioner after spending months in a mental institution? Should she even carry a gun?! I know, Laura with her history is the mayor but the police commissioner is a more dangerous position for someone unstable.
