The motherboard I have is from an ipod classic 5.5 I believe. I swapped the battery for a 3000 mah and replaced the hardrive with an iflash quad along with a single samsung micro SD, 256 gigs.

I charged it up to full overnight, then ran the device down until the battery was totally dead. After that, I tried charging it but it doesn't turn on. I left it charging for 12 hours dirextly from a wall socket and it still doesn't fully turn on. It does boot into rockbox, but it rapidly turns on and powers off when plugged in. I tried turning it on to load the default system but it goes straight to the low battery screen. afterwards

Prior to this, just few days ago it charged just fine, even up to full. Anyone have any ideas?

I'm brand new to Ipod modding and I don't know much outside of a few videos. I got a bundle of misc Ipod parts off the internet and I noticed that the battery connecter on this motherboard is just entirely gone. I do have some of the plastic bits still, but I'm not sure what to do with them.

Is this motherboard toast? I hope I can fix it myself (I have spares if not).
