Seeking Advice - Secret Civil Wedding
Me and my B2B are getting married in November 2028. Everything is almost booked and planned already (church, reception, catering, etc.). We decided to plan ahead since we’re based in Australia, and we’ll probably only be able to go home to the Philippines 3 times before the wedding.
We’ve been living together in Sydney for around 4 years now, and we’ll be coming home this November 2026 for about two weeks. During that trip, we’re planning to do a secret civil wedding mainly because:
- We want to keep our anniversary date the same as when we officially started dating.
- It might make the paperwork/process for our church wedding easier later on.
Can anyone share advice or experiences on how to do this within a 2-week timeframe?
We already have our PSA birth certificates and CENOMAR ready.
Our flight dates are October 30 (Friday) to November 15 (Sunday). We’re aiming to get married on November 14, but we’re worried about the timing since it’s a weekend and processing offices might be closed. We’re not sure if it’s possible.
