Hello all, I made a post awhile back asking about some info based on solely the medals I had in my possession that were my great grandfathers. I found the time and submitted a request through the National Archives, and was able to get his report of separation. I’d like to note that I was told all other documents relating to him was lost in the fire.
I kind of understand what I’m looking at for instance I understand the medals and what they mean, along with his job so to speak.
I see that it says he traveled to Scotland but I’m not sure why or where he could’ve been there.
I’m just wondering if based off of his separation from is there any more information that y’all could provide that’s not directly written?
I appreciate all the information and help.
