Im(22m) currently in month 3 of DEP. Below I have the list of jobs I’ve selected. I’d like to know what you guys would do in my position. I’m joining the Air Force so that I can get help finishing my degree(aerospace engineering). I’d like to become a civilian pilot, so when I started the process I figured I would get a decent job to gain some experience in and around different kinds of aircraft. I understand the process can take up to 12+ months and originally that seemed perfectly fine, but I’ve started to grow a little impatient and it doesn’t help that I’m hearing the air force has met recruitment goals months in advance. That sounds like an even longer waiting period to me. Since the jobs are chosen are really just secondary to getting my degree finished I’m considering adding security forces quick ship just so that I can join and get that ball rolling again. I understand my choices are my own, what would you do if it was yours.
