This competition ran in June and I am wondering if anyone here applied for it? I was surprised to see no mention of it here in this thread before now.

EDIT: Good to see a good few of you applied. Are any of you currently CS? If so what grade? Are you working in Comms currently? I found the math testing painful as its really not my strong point, hoping to get through it and do better at interview level.

Interesting to see everyone seems to have had difficulty with the testing, I felt the exact same, math has never been my strong point. I am a Comms Specialist EO and this process so far has been much harder than what I went through.

I am currently an EO civil servant and applied for an external HEO position a few months ago. I am going forward for interview in 2 weeks time with a panel of POs and an A-Sec. What I am wondering is, what format does this interview take in relation to the application form I filled out?

I know the competency framework is what they’ll adhere to, but do they follow up mostly on my application form answers or what way does that go? I am quite confident and proud of all the examples I gave but worried that if it veers off those into other areas I may get lost. I am new to the CS, serving a year and a half only, so a little anxious about how all this works.

Any insight would be fantastic and appreciated.
