Hi everyone. I am an EU citizen with a BSc 25yo planning to apply for Medicine at RSU. I will be relying entirely on the state-guaranteed Swedbank/ALTUM loan for my tuition fees.
I contacted the RSU admissions office and they told me: "The bank decides about the amount that will be issued as a study loan by evaluating each student's financial situation".
My question is straightforward: Does the Swedbank study loan actually cover 100% of the tuition fees? Is there any risk that the bank evaluates your situation and approves only a partial amount, leaving you to pay the rest out of pocket?
IMPORTANT NOTE: Please only reply if you are an EU student who has personally gone through this process and received the Swedbank/ALTUM loan. I am looking for actual experiences, not assumptions. Thank you!!!
