Management company did half a repair and hasn’t responded or followed up in 6 months (NYC)
We have been living in our apartment 2 years now. The fan in our bathroom, which has no natural ventilation, broke and it took many months of messages, emails, and calls to have it fixed. They took the whole fan out and replaced it 2 months later. Because of this, a lot of mold formed in the caulking of our bathroom. Finally got someone to come, and they removed the caulking and said they’d be back to caulk it the next day. That was 6 months ago. Management has been ignoring my contact this whole time (documented). What can be done? How do I make sure none of the liability of repair is put on me once mold and water damage affects the walls behind the shower? There are large gaps in the tiling.
