any advice on living in a college dorm with emetophobia?
I’m transferring a 4 year college where I’ll be staying in a dorm but ngl i’m a little anxious about sharing a room with someone due to my emetophobia. In the past, after someone around me is sick I feel like the things they touch and spaces like their room and the bathroom are “contaminated” (along with it giving me panic attacks and high anxiety) for the next few days. The college i’m transferring to has options to request your own room or even your own dorm but is more expensive, not great housing options + I do still want to live with someone else.
If anyone has any advice or assurance please lmk 🙏
