So I’ve got a 2006 TRD Sport Ext. cab with the 4.0, and I’ve gotta load about 1,400-1,650lbs in my truck every two weeks. Do y’all think I’ll be fine? My redneck side says yes, but the truck still had the original leaf springs. The payload rating is 1,350 lbs dry, and 1,125 lbs after the driver’s weight. Typically I’d say “it’s a Yota, it’sf fine!”, but I have to do this for the next 7 months. Should I be fine with overloading it by 200-300 lbs? Furthest distance would be about 10-15 miles at 45-55 mph at the top speed.
