Hello, I am an American citizen that will be traveling to Moldova for 6 months for volunteer work, and because of the length of time I will need to apply for residence permit. Will I have to apply for a visa (type D/ru) before I enter, or can I enter freely because I am a U.S citizen and apply for residency once I am there. I’ve emailed the Immigration Office, but just wanted to see if you guys had any insight. Thank you !
