So I just completed the "there can be only one" quest and i thought it'll be tough but as soon as i talked to the hermit he said i already possess all the values and asked me to fight and 2-3 slashes later, i got my sword.

Is this normal or is there some kind of bug? I was supposed to complete some quests to get the sword right?

I mean I ain't complaining, just confused
