Threw vape in trash and feel like a complete idiot.
Hey everyone, after years of vaping I got super exhausted and frustrated today by the addiction and angrily threw my juul (attached to a full nic pod) plus some empty juul pods in the trash, shook it around so it was completely muddled with the rest of the trash, tied it up, and literally chucked it into the garbage bin of the apartment building.
After I calmed down for a sec I realized that it’s an electronic device and I absolutely should not have thrown it out that way. I looked it up and apparently these can start fires? I’m freaking the fuck out right now because I was such an idiot, and I can’t go and dig that shit out of a literal garbage area, plus the juul is probably lost in the ether by now.
I was wondering if anyone else has accidentally done this - like am i supposed to alert someone??? How big of a deal is this??
I really thought this would help me feel better but now I just feel worse :/. So much for that.
