Hello everyone. I am in need of advice regarding my employment situation. I have been facing several serious issues with my employer and have received a termination notice. I am in financial hardship and also currently injured and unable to work.

UNPAID WAGES & OVERTIME- My employer has not been paying me correctly for all the hours I have worked. I have been required to work extra hours without proper pay, and on some occasions I was asked to work for free because the employer said the business was not doing well.

UNSAFE WORKING CONDITIONS - I work as a automobile technician. My employer does not have a vehicle lift ramp, which is required for safe vehicle work.

TERMINATION NOTICE- while I am still on injury leave and unable to work, my employer sent me a termination notice. He has given me 3 weeks notice, stating the business is not doing well. I have not signed anything yet.

I am currently experiencing significant financial hardship as I have no income, I am injured, and I am now facing losing my job.

I would appreciate urgent advice on:

- Whether this termination is lawful given it occurred while I am on injury leave

- My rights regarding unpaid wages and overtime

- Whether I have grounds for a personal grievance

- What steps I should take before signing anything

can anyone please let me know how to seek help for this or should I just focus finding a new job ?
