A sunchoke island in my yard.
Four years ago I tossed some sunchokes into a woodchip/dirt pile. Today a visiting family member just asked me what kind of shrub this was lol. I just keep it mowed back and it keeps getting denser. Was going to kill it out this year and plant something else, but ya know, with the economy I thought it best to keep a few thousand calories handy.
