I'm Italian and I'm about to sign a contract for an onsite job in Braga, can I make it in three weeks?
I currently live in italy and I need to know if I can relocate succesfully in like three weeks (I should start on June 15th); the company sent me a relocation guide with all the documents I would need to start the job and if I got it right, the only mandatory things to start would be the NIF and the NISS. As I said they sent me the links with the informations on how to get them onsite but from what I can see the NISS could take up to 4 weeks to get, which is not compatible with my starting date. I told them I can start on June 15th, I still haven't got the official contract to sign, but I'm afraid I should've do more math before telling them, so here's my questions:
- I found out that you can get those documents much faster online if you pay a third party, is it true?
- I can't stay in a temporary accommodation and I need an actual portuguese adress in order to get the documents and start working, is it correct?
- Are there any other mandatory documents I need other than the NIF and the NISS in order to officially start working?
PS: Any feedback from fellows italians living in Braga or Portugal in general would be infinitely helpful, but even if not italian feel free to reach out here or in private, thank you
