
Here comes maintenance 😬
I've been low and slow, stayed at 5mg for the best part of a year. I'm still in disbelief that I'm nearly a third of my bodyweight down.
I've been on this daft cycle of yo-yo dieting for 30 years, and I've never ever managed to stop the weight creeping on again. So I've actually been really anxious as I got closer to goal. I'm short, so even a little weight gain feels like it makes a big difference to things like my joints, and I really can't go back again.
I've just had a "maintenance consultation" with SwiftDoctor, and honestly even the title was making me panic! Nasir was absolutely lovely though, very reassuring, and we have a plan 💪
Next stop 2.5 to see what my body does, and I'm just going to try to be kind to myself and flexible about how to make this work 🤞
