I have a small beach cottage in the North East, average summer temps in mid 80’s, but been warmer lately to upper 80’s.

The total square footage is only around 400 sqft. And is a studio layout with 11ft ceilings including a sleeping loft (which we want to make sure gets cooled). 1960’s insulation.

Would a 15k unit be too large for the space? Below is the model information that we’re considering.

I’ve read about short cycling, but seems it may not be an issue with the above model. Any info is appreciated!
