We may have already reached the end of the first batch of Gunnm: Panzer Kunst Chronicle...

Note that this is not quite confirmed yet, and I sure hope I will soon turn out to be wrong about this, but Comic Days isn't saying that the second half of episode 3 will be free to read next week, which may well mean that that's all there is for now (and perhaps until sometime next year, if Kishiro's pace remains the same).

When the first story of The Chronicles of Solar Rebels was published, I did wonder if perhaps the plan was to include it at the end of the first volume of Gunnm: Panzer Kunst Chronicle (instead of waiting for a couple more stories to be published in order to release an actual The Chronicles of Solar Rebels volume)... but of course, if they were to do that, that would also likely mean far fewer pages for actual Gunnm: Panzer Kunst Chronicle episodes as a result... I didn't mention that theory of mine here because I didn't want to be a Debbie Downer / jinx it by putting that "worst case scenario" idea into the world, but it's looking like that might be what's going to happen after all:

Episode 1 of Gunnm: Panzer Kunst Chronicle = 35 pages

Episode 2 of Gunnm: Panzer Kunst Chronicle = 31 pages

Episode 3 of Gunnm: Panzer Kunst Chronicle = ... not entirely sure, as I can't read the second half, but let's say 31 pages as well

Episode 1 of The Chronicles of Solar Rebels = 57 pages

Throw in a few "blank" pages before / after each episode, and the page count would be in the same range as that of a Gunnm: Mars Chronicle volume.

Again, this isn't actually confirmed, but... well, it seems likely, at this point. (...And oooh boy, if you think about what this could mean for the future of the series beyond volume 1... welp. I find it harder and harder to believe we'll ever reach the end of the story. :/ )
