Adeno and peri/menopause

Hi folks. I’ve had endo diagnosed since I was 21 (F 45 yo now). Adeno was added to the mix about 12 years ago. Recent scans indicate 2x adenomyomas. 5 previous laparoscopies. Mirena for the past 10 years, due for replacement.

I live in Melbourne Australia and was a former patient of Simon Gordon (IYKYK or google him for horrible news stories). New gyno appointment in 2 weeks.

My question is for those who are older and kept their uterus until they were perimenopausal. I tossing up doing a hysterectomy now v maintaining the mirena and waiting out menopause. If you’ve gone through menopause, did the symptoms go away?

Also watching the debate re GLP1s and endo with interest. Thinking being that it’s linked to a metabolic issue. Not sure if adeno is the same though.

So many questions.
