Looking for rp kindred

Hello,

My character is Eruanna. Please add me if you wanna quest. I would really like an active rp kindred to join. I am on peregrin server and am at level 50 (I leveled fast and some how missed a lot but that is for another thread) and I have done some quests and instances with people, but I would like a regular group to go and do things with. I enjoy the rp and social aspects and want some friends to go through my favorite world with. I am tired of it just being me and my cat. I was in one but I kept missing days and then they wouldn't let me because I was to high. I'd like to continue my main but If I must make an alt just to do more with people that is fine. Please, I would both like to play with people, and make some new friends. All I ask is that it is active and at least semi serious with the rp elements

Stuck on closing a race.

So I’m back to playing for the first time since around launch.

I’m deeply Tolkien-obsessed, but life got in the way for years. I finally came back because I needed a cheap distraction, and honestly, while there are some lore discrepancies here and there, you can tell the devs genuinely love Middle-earth.

Now I’m stuck on the most important decision imaginable: human or elf hunter main.

I already have a Hobbit alt because I spiritually belong in the Shire, but my main is tearing me apart.

I originally played an elf, then switched servers because I accidentally rolled on an EU server and nobody was ever on when I played. Found out too late you can’t transfer characters, so I restarted. Now I’m finally caught back up and STILL can’t decide.

I know the elf has better racial bonuses, but this is really about RP/vibe/headcanon.

Human Pros:

Feels more lore-appropriate wandering around Bree

Ranger vibes

Weather-stained cloak, mysterious traveler in the corner of the tavern energy

“I wanted to be Strider before the movies existed and none of the other kids knew what I was talking about”

Human Cons:

Bonuses are kind of boring

Ages and dies, which Tolkien keeps insisting is important

RP idea: Dúnedain-style wanderer keeping watch on the Shire and patrolling the roads with an elf friend.

Elf Pros:

Pretty

Stealth racial

Bow bonus

Can eventually sail West when Middle-earth becomes too much

Also gets to wear a cloak and brood in corners, but elegantly

Elf Cons:

Why AM I in Bree?

Aloof immortal energy

Feels slightly less grounded in the setting moment-to-moment

RP idea: Young by elf standards. Loves Middle-earth but knows they will eventually leave it. Wanders to preserve what beauty remains. Feels drawn West but can’t quite let go of forests, rivers, and old places yet. Basically the kind of elf who would understand why Legolas fell in love with Fangorn.

Help me before I spend another three hours staring at the character creator or waste money on a race change
