I’m 16 and currently in the UK. I’m a beginner in IT and interested in going into cloud engineering. If I get relevant cloud certifications, build a good portfolio of practical projects, and gain hands-on experience, is it realistic to get into cloud engineering without going to university, and eventually work my way up to senior cloud engineering or cloud architecture roles?

I’m 16 and currently in the UK. I’m a beginner in IT, and I’m wondering whether, if I earn several relevant certifications and build a strong cybersecurity portfolio with practical experience, could I enter the cybersecurity field without a cybersecurity degree and eventually progress into senior-level roles?

EDIT: A lot of people are telling me no, and I would be required to get experience first. What would this experience entail first? Would it entail being a Helpdesk technician? Getting into QA Engineering?
