I Accidentally Engineered a Hangover Prevention Protocol and My Liver Wants to Thank Me

Before you even think about cracking that first drink, slam 1 teaspoon of psyllium husk in 8-12oz of water. Yes it looks like swamp water. 😅 Drink it anyway. Chase it with another full 8-12oz within the hour. The psyllium forms an actual gel barrier in your intestinal tract that buffers alcohol absorption AND reduces gut permeability, which is a fancy way of saying your intestines won't spend the next morning filing a formal complaint against you.

Now here's where most people seem to blow it. Electrolytes..

Seems like most people I know (including my self for a long time) wait until they're a dehydrated husk of a human at 3am to chug a Gatorade like that's going to save them. Wrong. Your kidneys have a processing limit, so flooding them with a full scoop at once of powdered electrolytes, gatorade or whatever electrolyte of your choosing.. is IMO, basically throwing money (and minerals) into the void.

Instead: ¼ tsp electrolytes around hour 3-4 of drinking. Another ¼ tsp right before bed. Final ¼ tsp when you wake up. Small doses, staged timing, working with your kidneys instead of against them.

Alcohol suppresses vasopressin meaning you're basically a human sieve all night. The staged dosing keeps replenishing what you're losing in real time rather than doing damage control after the fact.

Your future self will wake up mildly confused about why you feel okay. You're welcome.

Supplements used :

• Ener-IV Lemon Lime flavor (its quite delicious to me)

• Organic India Psyillum Husk

Edit: I am sharing this because it seems to work extremely well for me, chugging water all night to meet that perfect water to alcohol ratio is a pain and sends me to the bathroom every 10 to 15 minutes. I also reccommend these brands specifically due to their rigorous testing, including heavy metals.

Hey guys! After much reading and watching videos and every other possible thing to help me decide..

I CANT DECIDE.

I have a 1k budget, I have no amp, mainly will be using these at home with great care.

Trying to figure out what would be the best all rounder set up? I dont mind getting more then 1 headphone. Could be 2 or 3 headphones. But I want to cover every angle possible (if possible) for all genres of music without messing with EQ. I also want a headset specifically for fps gaming.. so I am maybe thinking one head set covers fps/foot steps.. one covers many genres of music and then a head set that is the complete opposite to cover the genres that the other head set doesnt excel in if that makes sense?

Open back, closed back, IEM. Any is fine. Just need help deciding as its been a month of trying to decide and I havent pulled the trigger on anything.

Thank you.
