Seriously, what is Bald Guy Fest?
I need to know if I am slowly losing my mind or if others have heard about this as well.
I have lived in Chatt for almost 5 years now, and have never seen this before. But this past week!? I've seen so many flyers taped up everywhere — near the walnut Street bridge, in the North Shore Publix, even as far as Velo Coffee Roasters and up and down Station Street. Even saw one taped on a parking meter near CBC.
At first I thought it was some kind of prank or underground punk show, but the flyers seem kind of legit? It says it's happening June 1st at Coolidge park sometime around 6:30 PM.
I looked it up online and saw they even have an eventbrite and are hosting a competition for "Shiniest Head", "Johnny Sins Look-alike", etc.
Is this a real festival? Has anyone been before? I feel like I'm losing my mind. Is this a charity thing? A cult? Or just Chattanooga being weird again?
I would love to know what you all think of this and who all is going XD
I wonder if you have to be bald to show up or can you bring a bald friend as a plus 1?
TL;DR: Keep seeing flyers for "Bald Guy Fest." Is this a real event or is someone just trying to get all the bald guys together to reflect the sun back into space?
