Most of the gyms have been just on the edge of the map... this one isnt even here??
Edit: ended up being in the northwest of the map, about 30 blocks from being on the map...
Pretty much the title. Im excited for everything im seeing of cobblemon 1.8, but am wondering how long after cobbleverse will take to follow as thats what me and my friends are playing. Does anyone know? Maybe from like his long its taken in the past?

I much prefer the way gengar flies, but it seems most others fly with the directional mouse method and I kinda dont like it... is there any way to customize it?
Also side note question; is the movement speed of ride pokemon based on the speed stat? Like if I max out gengars speed would he fly faster?
(If its important, or maybe the issue, im using the cobbleverse mod pack on a friend's server)
I want to love cobblemon as much as I loved pixelmon but it just seems off. I have never been this unlucky in any pokemon game or experience ever. I use hypnosis 26 times and it works 3, they immediately wake up the next turn. I get frozen, 8 turns, still frozen. I get put to sleep, cant wake up. Its just so frustrating. Never in all my years of Pokémon have I needed to bother with awakenings or anything like that, but here they seem necessary???
And sometimes it just breaks, like at the moment im trying to catch a Zygarde cell, level 5, asleep, when I throw a ball the battle just says I've thrown the ball and nothing is happening, I cant act, I cant throw another ball its just broken, something similar happened with a trainer the other day.
There are many things i like about cobblemon and im not here to crap on the game, like I said, I really want to love it, but there's just some things here and there that are really holding it back for me.
Ive been using this sandwich forever. I would get 1-2 shines per sandwich, however, pretty much since the switch 2 came out (I don't play as often anymore) but I've been through like 7 or 8 sandwiches with no ekans. I have the shiny charm, I'm in the ekans cave (before I was running along the bottom right of the map with no shines at all either, including all the other poison types). Like maybe it is just the absolute worst rng ever, but this is insane... (i also did try transferring my save back to the switch 1 and did a sandwich there too)
Edit; I appreciate the suggestion of the other recipe, but I was using this to avoid salty.
I was finally able to get my 2 ekans... only took like nearly 12 months and like 10-12 sandwiches...
So recently I got 616096 as a high score. I regularly got at least 100k before failing. The other day I had to reset my phone and when I re downloaded the game, I all of a sudden can't even get to 15k... I'm not playing any differently, like what is happening?
