Really posting this so that current members who read the shit talking here will know that those are the opinions of those who did or didn’t watch Dwayne “the Rock” Johnson’s series following the 2016 Blue Devils and Cadets.
I don't really think baritones and euphoniums are necessary for Drum Corps. We need just the rest of the hornline only. Considering they don't even really make that big of a difference to a group's score, and they don't even have their own scoring category since they're just lumped into brass.
It's not like DCI wouldn't work without. It's like how winter guard works on their own without euphoniums.
Even orchestra’s don’t have euphoniums. I just feel like it'll help groups actually focus back on actually marching technique and maybe we can go back to prime DCI shows.
