M23 southbound rammed and gridlocked at J9 and J10.
Waze recommended J10a and double back for the north terminal drop off. I assumed that everyone else would go that way, but it was deserted. I got into the north terminal drop off quite quickly. Getting back onto the M23 took me almost an hour! The south terminal was gridlocked with police doing traffic control. Lots of pushing and shoving with horns blowing and tempers getting frayed.
I then go to the website to pay my £10 drop off charge. I click my mouse and the payment page appears, I go through a few steps and reach the payment....£26! Not £10 but £26. I search again and the second or third listing on Google is the drop off charge website. I pay my £10 and get an email receipt.
Absolute crooks bastards masquerading and knobbing people for £16 a go! I'm very slowly starting to hate this country now.
Apparently the driver has legged it.
A large section of the bridge has come down.

What the old Indian take away in Heckington is going to be? It's been refurbished with new windows, doors and the interior is being worked on.
Ignoring the Southern region, LNER operates it's lines with the slow and fast lines side by side. Avanti and GWR operate their lines with slow and fast lines on opposite tracks. The up fast and slow are on one side and the down fast and slow are on the other side (I hope this makes sense). The four track sections on LNER are operated differently to the other two TCOs. Any particular reason why this is?
