Rescue Help: Please read full story
Preamble: we are in the US in the middle of WA state. My wife and I already have 9 rescues of our own that’s all indoor with very large living spaces. Their ages span 6 months to about 7 years atm. We have neighbors that have let their domestic rabbits run feral and unfixed. Already tried working with the authorities and net/net they denied the rabbits belonged to them and therefore said it is not their problem to deal with. Current state: in the last 3 weeks we were able to rescue 10 of the kits from two litters that totaled 14. There is still one remaining that we know to be alive. The rest were unfortunately taken care of due to natural predators. Ask for Help: We have called all of the rescues that we know handle rabbits and they were either full or never called back. We’re looking for alternatives to in the state of Washington, preferably Oregon, Idaho, or California, but if there is a rescue that would be willing to take them all we will drive further. If anyone has good connections in their network to rescues that might open to even taking 1 or you know anyone looking to adopt, please DM me or comment here. We aren’t asking for anything, just want to make sure they all find a good home. We three white red eyes, two black blue eyes, and one gray that All appear to be lops. In the second batch two blacks, an oreo colored one and black gray runt lop. Thanks for any help in advance.
